Every year, our senior staff move onto clerkship and rotations, and we need the bright minds of the incoming medical class to fill in these gaps! Your enthusiasm and excitement are the CORE of our organization, and we need dedicated individuals to take a leadership role to continue promoting and building our journal!

The UBC Medical Journal is a journal that is run and written by students, for the world. What can you bring to the table? Do you have any new ideas to contribute? Are you willing to take on the journal as the editor-in-chief? or a section editor? or are you willing to have big executive meetings with medical companies for advertising? Not only do we want your input, and contributions, we want your class to take ownership of the journal, so it can continue for years to come.

Although major leadership roles are available for the incoming medical class, there are positions for 2nd and 3rd year medical students available, such as staff writer positions. These positions will allow you to publish a piece of work in the journal, perfect for CARMS applications. More details about available positions are available here. Deadline for application is September 19th at 11:59 pm.
