UBCMJ launches its next issue: Volume 1 Issue 2 on Global Health

The UBC Medical Journal would like to celebrate the successful launch of its second issue of the journal, with a focus on Global Health! The launch of our second issue featured prominent speakers including Dr. Evan Wood and Dr. Clayton Smith. Held in conjunction with a Research Forum facilitated by both the UBC Medical Journal and the Medical Undergraduate Society, the launch featured over 30 abstracts that will be published in an Online Supplemental Issue of the UBCMJ!

Volume 1 Issue 2 highlights the topic of Global Health with articles touching on the Obama Plan (pg. 30-32), Medicine in the Himalayas (pg. 32-33), and much more. Make sure to check out our latest articles under "Current Issue"—we are now welcoming submissions for our next issue! The theme for Volume 2 Issue 2 will be Rural Medicine.
