On March 15, 2012 UBC's Faculty of Medicine held the 8th Annual UBC Medicine Undergraduate Research Forum and to coincide with this event the UBCMJ launched our latest issue.

UBC Medical Journal publishes its third issue!

The UBC Medical Journal would like to thank everyone that attended and participated in the launch of our third issue. As you can see from the photos, it was a huge success. The focus of our third issue (Volume 2, Issue 1) is Interprofessional Education and all our articles are now available for you to view online. Check it out here.

UBCMJ launches its next issue: Volume 1 Issue 2 on Global Health

The UBC Medical Journal would like to celebrate the successful launch of its second issue of the journal, with a focus on Global Health! The launch of our second issue featured prominent speakers including Dr. Evan Wood and Dr. Clayton Smith. Held in conjunction with a Research Forum facilitated by both the UBC Medical Journal and the Medical Undergraduate Society, the launch featured over 30 abstracts that will be published in an Online Supplemental Issue of the UBCMJ!

The UBC Medical Journal will be presenting a poster about the launch of the new Global Health Section with an abstract entitled "The UBC Medical Journal: A Forum for Global Health". The annual Global Health Education Consortium (http://www/globalhealthedu.org/) meets April 9 to 11, 2010 at the Instituto Nacional de Salud Pública in Cuernavaca, Mexico.

UBCMJ is coming to the Northern Health Research Conference

The UBCMJ abstract has been accepted at the Fifth Annual Northern Health Research Conference in Sudbury, Ontario. The Annual Northern Health Research Conference explores research initiatives within Northern Ontario arising from community-based activities. It will highlight projects underway from students, residents and researchers. The conference provides opportunities for collaboration and community networking.
